Then, on Sunday we had the priviledge of Aunt Lisa taking us to the 100th Anniversary of the Indianapolis 500! Wow! What a great once in a lifetime experience! Karter cried about half way through the race when we made him leave the stands to go to the restroom and to get a snack. He was afraid he was going to miss all the cars. Here he is enjoying the race!
Then on Monday and Tuesday we were able to be with cousins Emily and Chandler again. Monday was spent at the Indianapolis Zoo where Karter and Chandler were our tour guides. They would keep the map and decide what we were going to go see next. All three of the kids seemed to like the sharks the best. The Zoo had an area that was full of water and small sharks. You could walk up to the edge of the water and if you were careful you could pet the sharks. All of the kids thought that was really cool. Here are some pictures of the Zoo!
Tuesday we drove down to Santa Claus, Indiana to visit Holiday World and Splashin Safari! It was a great day with the family! I didn't get many pictures since everyone spent most of the day in the water on the slides and in the wave pool! Here is one of Karter and his cousins again.
Wednesday we went to watch the Indianapolis Indians play baseball. Once again we need to say a big thanks to Aunt Lisa and Uncle Pat for the tickets! It was fun, but it seems that I didn't get any pictures! Thursday, we took it easy and then went to see Chandler play baseball! It was a great week, but we had to leave on Friday to make the 16 hour drive home so we could be back to church Sunday morning!
Just before we left for this vacation, Karter finished up his first season of t-ball. Here are a few pictures from it! I LOVE THIS LITTLE BOY!!!
